Set in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, you emerge into a vast wasteland to discover humanity working to rebuild itself against such forces as bandit gangs, mutants, and more. In this first part, The Legacy of id, the team at id Software touch on pioneering the first-person shooter and creating the world of RAGE.
In the second video titled The Dawn the team at id talks about creating RAGE’s story, discussing the destruction of civilization, as well as the characters and enemies you will encounter in the wasteland.
In the third video titled The Arsenal, the team at id Software discuss the various weapons, ammo types, and gadgets you’ll come across in the RAGE wasteland.
In the fourth video titled The Wasteland, the team at id Software team discuss creating the world of RAGE, its variety of intense missions as well as co-op and multiplayer combat rally racing.
In the fifth video titled The Enemy, the team at id Software discuss the many enemies players will encounter in RAGE, ranging from bandit clans to mutants to high-tech super soldiers.
