Ngmoco Tetralogy with Adventure Bay Game

I am overdue for a bit of ranting about ngmoco’s latest addition, the Adventure Bay Game. But before that,  let’s discuss all the new content to the original ngmoco trilogy We Rule, We Farm and We City.

I don’t really care that much about the leaderboards but I do check them from time to time just to see if it is the usual top 10 and I was quite surprised to see my We Rule Kingdom is in the Most Visited top 500, yay!

Let’s start with We Rule since it is the first game of the tetralogy. Ngmoco has introduced We Rule Quests v. 1.22, which now allows players to stash, store and move items between realms with the brand new Inventory feature. We Rule players asked for that feature since the first day of Realms being introduced to the game so that was very good news.

I have never had much issues with We Rule but lately it crashes a lot. At some point today, it took me 6 tries before it crashes, I have rebooted my iPhone and that seemed to do the trick. But it is not just We Rule that crashes, all ngmoco games seemed to be very unstable at the moment or it might be just me.

One of the interesting new content was the Stone Walls and a Gatehouse to keep our kingdom safe and secure… but safe and secure from what? Thieves of course! Thieves are on the loose in the We Rule kingdom, with a Thieves’ Den and Catapults! The We Rule Thieves’ Den comes at a hefty price of 330000 coins but the worst part is the 50xp only that we receive to build it which brought quite some confusion in the community. “What are the consequences of earning so much money dishonestly?” ngmoco states… OK, ngmoco seems to have a bit of a sense of humor! You get 1045c for ordering and 1390c as an owner which still makes it the most profitable building in We Rule. The downside is you only get 1xp making it the least xp earning building in the game.

We Rule Tips and Tricks

We Farm Safari Poachers Beware! We got a race track for the New Year but no one is really sure why a race track on a Safari theme. I thought the train was acceptable but a race track? I made the best of it but honestly, it does not fit really well my We Farm theme. Until ngmoco came back to the We Farm Safari theme with a Serengeti Hut and Zebra, a Mask Shop and today a Hyena’s Den and Ranger Station. Now what I would like to see is more “safari” trees and plants as we only have one type of cactus.

We Farm Tips and Tricks

Hit the beach on We City! Set your sights on new horizons for your city with the all new water-themed content! First it was just a Cruise Ship, a Buoy decoration, some Dock, Beach & Water tiles. Today ngmoco gave us a massive update which included 3 new buildings and 8 new decorations which will help in creating beautiful waterfronts and islands! I love it except I ran out of cash to build all of these so it will be a slow process for my We City to convert to the water theme.

The Adventure Bay game seems to be stalling. We had a few Christmas themed content which to me was useless and not really related to the pirate theme so I did not bother investing in any of those. We got a new building the mineshaft which is fantastic because so far the only way we could get gemstones was by completing quests. The problem with that is the Adventure Bay game seems to crash most of the time in the middle of a quest therefore players loses any treasure found.

So there is no major update for the Adventure Bay game which is a bit of a shame but at this point I think players would like to see more of a fix for the constant crashes more than anything else. But I do have a few requests to make the Adventure Bay Games the best…

My wishes for the Adventure Bay game is at least one more upgrade in the size of the island before introducing extra little islands. I would like to see a new combination in the Adventure Bay Loot Collections. I mean, what am I supposed to do with 3442 peanuts and 1238 espresso shots? It would be nice to see some new content only available through the Adventure Bay Loot Collections. Another 2 ships would be highly appreciated and a back up plan like the mineshaft for other items than can only be found on quests. Is that too much to ask for?

Adventure Bay Game guide

I love We Rule probably because it was the first game but I think the Adventure Bay game has a lot of potential and is still my favorite ngmoco game at the moment.
