I have to wonder if anyone from the ngmoco team is actually playing any of the games? I mean, new content, great, but is it really necessary? I used to be looking forward to the new content, but there are so many of them now, that it is no longer exciting. And most of the time it does not bring anything to the game and the real issues are not being addressed or so it seems.

First, Ngmoco, would it really kill you to add that “confirm button”?

Mojo, Gro, Spice, Zap… We asked for a confirm button since the beginning of We Rule but I don’t think it will ever happened. So why am I mentioning it? Because I am hoping ngmoco pr team is reading anything related to their games so I still want to try to get the message across. Any business need money to function but I don’t think players are against paying money to get some of the stuff and I would go as far as saying that most gamers would be happy to support their favorite games from time to time. I have visited a few We Rule kingdoms where I saw players had accumulated quite a few paid of the same buildings. I have read a few times that people would not mind buying but they do not want to waste their money in Mojo when it can be so easily wasted because of that missing “confirm” button!  I just wasted 18 spice in 5 seconds by accident! Seeing that paid-in content is being added to all your games, ngmoco, we DO deserve a “confirm button”.

The new inventory where you can stash, store and move items between realms is great and it would be nice if it was introduced at the same time as the new realms, farmland or whatever they are depending on the game. I deleted so many buildings on We Rule, We Farm and We City and right after that, the new inventory was introduced! Granted, we get extra xp by building, but on We City for instance I could have done with the cash instead of deleting to re-build somewhere in a new realm.

We Rule Quest does not need any new content (Godfinger does!). New content so often is getting kinda boring especially when we, players, know that there are so mny issues that need to be addressed. We Farm is OK too as far as new content, the introduction finally of new crops was excellent but the animal “petting” is what kills that game. We City… new content is appreciated but something is missing with that game and I can’t put my ginger on what it is. I am still having a hard time to save up on coins to buy the “oh so expensive” new buildings… It took me forever to get that last We City achievement for 1,000,000 coins saved and once I finally reached it, the money was gone in like 10mn! It seems We City is the only game where the earnings are really bad though the new content has much more earning potentials.

Ngmoco, Adventure Bay

But the one ngmoco game I am mostly disappointed with is Adventure Bay. I loved the concept that was introduced but it has been stalling ever since and now seems to have lost its appeal. While we finally got some new worthwhile content, I do have to wonder what ngmoco is thinking when making up those… The casino is randomly giving out a chip or any type of gems. The casino chip is needed in order to get the new Adventure Bay Loot for 7777xp. So far, after all that time, I have gotten only 3 casino chips, most of the time I get a ruby or a diamond, never even the needed emerald for the other high xp Adventure Bay Loot. And why gems, we already have the mineshafts for those?!

Not that I would want 100s of mysterious hatch on my island anyway, but how do we get the coconuts? And how many more sacred jungles do we have to build to get the tree frogs as we are limited by space or does ngmoco is implying we should use the stacking cheat like many other players do? We know that new islands available are probably just around the corner but still this is quite annoying.

Finally, ngmoco introduced some worthwhile new content to Adventure Bay. Though I am still wondering how long do we have to wait for new crops that are worth something and with better timing?

The mermaid cove is cute and I like the fact it is so small it does not require too much space that I really don’t have much of lately especially after building one temple… But why on earth can’t we put the mermaid cove on the water? Adventure Bay… Pirates… islands… the theme is awesome and I think that’s what makes the Adventure Bay game so cool. So why can’t you give us a way to use the water? Wouldn’t that make more sense ngmoco?

And new content with a new character but no new quest! Did I miss something? Aren’t the quests one of the highlights of the Adventure Bay game? And the time needed to build those is beyond ridiculous. It is OK on We Rule because we have already so many buildings to keep us busy and with worthwhile earnings… but Adventure Bay is still new… and stalling… Ngmoco, what are you thinking?
