inFAMOUS 2 Spices Things Up But Keeps Original Flavor
Cole returns in infamous 2 as a more focused, more dangerous superhero in the making.
If you did not get a chance to play inFAMOUS, then you missed out on a great adventure where super natural powers can be used to destroy or save your city. It combined some free roam aspects from games like Crackdown with super human powers similar to Star Wars The Force Unleashed, but that is where the similarities stop and the great sense of adventure begins.
inFAMOUS 2 promises much more of the same, but with some added improvements in every department. If you own inFAMOUS 2 and are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you will get early access to the Uncharted 3 multi-player beta on June 28th. This is a nice marketing move by Sony and has worked well for other games in the past, plus gamers really get that extra bonus of playing Uncharted 3 a little early. It is a win win situation.
Empire City is not what it used to be. It has been all but destroyed by a new evil presence, known simply as, The Beast. Cole will travel to a new city that is heavily influenced by New Orleans. He will learn more about his powers and he will gain new ones that will help him get rid of The Beast forever.
From the very start of the game you have every single power that was available in the first. This will make things a lot of fun. Once you learn new powers they will be added to your constantly growing arsenal of super natural abilities.

One of the new powers is called The Amp. It is a large pipe that you can give a nice electrical charge. Once charged the fun begins as you smash enemy after enemy. You can target bad guys with direct hits or use the electrical charge to toast them from a distance. This makes for some really fun game play which allows you to mix it up a bit.
Everything that you loved about inFAMOUS will still play through to inFAMOUS 2. Sucker Punch knows that they have a winning combination and they are not going to change it one bit. There are some noticeable improvements to the visuals. inFAMOUS 2 will be running on a newer updated version of inFAMOUS 1′s engine. The details are much more vibrant, crisp and clear.

Decisions that you make will change the world around you, not only in the visual department, but also in the game’s epic story. Will your actions make the world a better place or will you answer to that evil little devil sitting on your shoulder and wreak havoc. That is one thing that makes this game so much fun.
