Deus Ex Human Revolution is the third game in the Dues Ex series. The first game was a huge success, and it quickly swept up a huge fan base. Fans waited eagerly like hungry dogs for a sequel that would be as good as the first, but unfortunately the sequel did not satisfy the hungry fans. It was a let down, and it has become a dark stain on the Deus Ex franchise.

Deus Ex Human Revolution has huge shoes to fill. Will it be as great as Deus Ex, or will it tank like Deus Ex Invisible War. Luckily for everyone it has been almost eight years since Deus Ex Invisible War, and a lot of things have changed.

There is some good news for everyone. It looks like the Deus Ex Human Revolution gameplay is shaping up to be a lot like the very first game in the series. So far it has the same feel as Deus Ex, but with some great new things thrown into the mix.

Deus Ex Human Revolution takes us back in time. You could even say it is a prequel because it is happening 25 years before all of the events in Deus Ex. Body modifications are not the norm, and there are a lot of folks who think that people should be people, and not part machine. The whole setting has a very futuristic punk style that is a welcome change from other games.

You get to play as Adam Jensen, a human that wakes up after a violent attack. A quick survey of your body shows you that most of it has been replaced with mechanical pieces. These are augmentations and they are the cause of the current state of the world. You don’t look like yourself. You barely look human, and now you are in stuck in the middle of this fight.

The augmentations have good and bad points. The bad points are that you are no longer human. You are part machine, and we all know how machines don’t always do what they are supposed to. Sometimes the augmentations glitch. The good side to these cyborgenic parts is that they can be upgraded, and when they are, they enhance your physical abilities.

Deus Ex Human Revolution gameplay is action at the heart, but it can also be played with stealth. It is a a first person shooter, but it changes to a third person view when you take cover.

The guns in the game are very powerful. Just a few rounds will take down most enemies. This goes both ways. If you stand there like a human target, you will quickly learn that the enemies mean business. The enemies are tough. They are smart and they will gang up on you, flank you and try their best to send you to an early grave.
