Call of Duty Rezurrection Brings New Life To Black Ops

Call of Duty fans have proven that they just can’t get their fill of addictive and competitive game play. The core game play has remained the safe through single player campaign, competitive multiplayer matches, and the very popular Zombies mode of game play. Within a few hours of Call of Duty Black Ops hitting the streets, just under 1 million gamers were playing over Xbox Live.

Black Ops keeps on delivering what gamers want, and the fourth piece of downloadable content proves to take Call Of Duty gamers to places that they have never been, as well as Rezurrect a few familiar maps. This piece of add-on content will make fans of the Zombie mode of game play very happy. Every map included in Rezurrection is a Zombie map. Get ready to destroy wave after wave of the undead as they try to feast on your brains. How long will you survive, and what Easter Eggs can you find?

Call of Duty Rezurrection Shoot the moon

The most notable level in Call of Duty Rezurrection is called, “Moon.” Can you guess where this takes place? It takes place on the moon and fighting zombies on the moon is a completely different game all together.

Playing the Moon level is much more of a challenge. Hardcore gamers will quickly be up to heir necks in brain seeking zombie hordes.

Zombies can survive in space without oxygen, but you can’t. From the very beginning things are tough. You can’t breathe on the moon. So the very first matter at hand is finding yourself a space helmet. Once you find a helmet it is time to slaughter some zombies.

There are other changes that gamers will face. Take gravity for instance. Gravity on the moon is much different, and it effects everything around you. Hitting zombies with the butt of your gun will send them flying far away, but at the same time, it can be tough to control your own movements. Keeping a safe distance between you and the zombie horde becomes even more challenging when gravity is effected.

There are new types of zombies too. You will encounter astronaut zombies who are very difficult to defeat. Thankfully they are slow and you can easily just avoid them if you want. The other new zombies are not so easy to avoid, in fact some of them are down right annoying. Take the ones that flicker in and out and magically appear all around you for instance, these zombies will try your patience.

When battling zombie hordes in outer space, gamers need different weapons and gadgets, and they will get them. Which new weapons will you wield against the not stop zombie horde? There is also a new perk. Will it help you stay alive on the moon?

What else is new in Call of Duty Rezurrection?

The Call of Duty Rezurrection map pack has some other new offerings as well. Gamers will also get a free three song zombie inspired soundtrack. The songs on this soundtrack have never been available for purchase. Gamers who download the Call of Duty Rezurrection map pack will also be treated to a free moon theme.

Moon is not the only Zombie map available in Rezurrection. Gamers will see some very familiar surroundings. There are four other zombie map packs too. All of these levels have been taken from prior zombie games, but they have been remastered. The layout and the terrain might be the same, but everything has a shiny new remastered polish.

Call of Duty Rezurrection Celebrate with more XP

The Rezurrection maps are just the beginning for Call of Duty fans. The release of this zombie infested map pack kicks off the very first Call of Duty fan celebration called Call of Duty XP. Starting Friday September 3rd, gamers can earn double XP over the entire holiday weekend. From Friday to Monday gamers can rack up the XP points.
