Bulletstorm, the upcoming video game release by EA games, looks to be a really nice mix of gore, humor, and lots of kills. If you are a grownup playing this game, you may not appreciate the interesting youthful exuberance displayed here. Bulletstorm gameplay does look to be quite a mess, but in reality, I think that’s the message Bulletstorm is trying to get across (coming from the developers of Gears of War for the PC) absolute carnage is on the menu.
Bulletstorm Features:
- Travel from scorched desserts to tropical forests and an adult playground resort on a beautifully realized paradise defiled, delivered by the power of the Unreal Engine
- Combine outrageous gunplay with Bulletstorm’s unique kick, slide and leash mechanics as you kill with skill, racking up points along the way

Bulletstorm game feeds you with excitement and the large spectacle it creates making the game seem realistic to some degree. If you have ever thought about a no holds barred game, hang on because the Bulletstorm game takes it up a few notches. Anything that has to do with violence gets thrown at the player. No more brakes, no more running to mommy, with this game you will see the future of what’s to come in the video gaming world.
Massive guns, powerful cool slides, and some funky kicks help with dealing with assailants that come out of nowhere in the beginning. And if used the right way you can lay down some serious pain and destruction to say the least. You are also provided an energy whip that can be used to pull your assailants towards you, then kick them back and while they are flying don’t forget to give them that head shot. If you do this the right way you add up bonuses and multipliers.
Bulletstorm release date February the 22nd, 2011.
Bulletstorm gameplay really has you juggling your enemies with multiple attacks, it almost reminds you of the old street fighter games, with the different bioshock’s and upfront attacks which makes a difference in how you kill assailants or even if you kill them. Weapons upgrades happen as you are progressing through Bulletstorm, while at the same time, your prey are slowly being unlocked and dispatched in new ways. If you are looking for mercy kills to gain bonus points you have arrived, there is a bouncer gun that is pretty deadly, it shoots spinning spheres that disables your enemies, once disabled, take your shot.
Although you have Bulletstorm epic battles, you may need two different stomachs for this game. The environment soon becomes covered in blood and gore, and not just the enemies but you as well. If you have ever wanted to see leaking limbs, gaping necks, and fountains of gushing blood, you will celebrate with elation because Bulletstorm is loaded with it. As you navigate your way through the cityscape you will encounter indigenous plant life that looks to have grown to alien proportions. You will battle plant sacks and alien plant life while thinking to yourself, “what will come up next.” You have your hands full with complete boss battles with huge and threatening plants that are bigger than anything ever seen.
It looks as though in the Battlestorm game you do have a base dialogue between two characters. The game is sometimes confusing and chaotic, but it does come together to form a purpose which becomes quite enjoyable. The Bulletstorm release date being on February 22th 2011 you may want to eat “after” you play the game. By pre-ordering Bulletstorm it gave me access to the Gears of War 3 mp beta when it becomes available too. Bulletstorm is like Gears of War but awesome! Still being a fan, I am looking forward to Gears of War 3.
After looking at this game I can’t help to think of all the talk about how offensive the game will be, but let’s not give it all that credit. Just because it’s bloody and gory with limbs flying and heads exploding, doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable.
