Czech developers Amanita Design received worldwide acclaim for their Flash masterpieces Samorost and Samorost2 and have already been awarded the 2009 Independent Games Festival Award for Excellence in Visual Art for Machinarium. The one-of-a-kind adventure game features hand-drawn backgrounds filled with odd details and inventive puzzles. Thousands of animations bring life to every action of the charming characters and the atmospheric music draws the player in with unusual, mechanical sounds.
